Patrick Bouju started the Domaine de la Bohème in 2004 with only 1.5 ha.
Today its vineyards stretch over 5 hectares on volcanic soils, rich in basalt, through the chain of Auvergne extinct volcanoes. They recently obtained a license to buy grapes and released a range of négociant wines.

Domaine La Bohème is looking for the best known and forgotten soils of Puy-de-Dôme.
As a result, the vineyards are fragmented with a majority of old vines; the oldest vine is 116 years old.
These vines are of amazing biodiversity and grape varieties, such as Limberger, Mirefleurien, Gamay Fréau,
Gamay de Bouze and Gamay varietals with small or big berry.
Wine are vinified separately to reflect the characteristics of each terroir.

Patrick Bouju gründete die Domaine de la Bohème im Jahr 2004 mit nur 1,5 ha.
Heute erstrecken sich seine Weinberge über 5 Hektar auf vulkanischen Böden, die reich an Basalt sind, in der Kette der erloschenen Vulkane der Auvergne. Vor kurzem hat das Weingut eine Lizenz zum Ankauf von Trauben erhalten und eine Reihe von Negociant-Weinen herausgebracht.

Die Domaine La Bohème ist auf der Suche nach den bekanntesten und vergessenen Böden von Puy-de-Dôme.
Daher sind die Weinberge zersplittert und bestehen größtenteils aus alten Rebstöcken; der älteste Rebstock ist 116 Jahre alt. Diese Rebstöcke weisen eine erstaunliche Artenvielfalt und Rebsorten auf, wie z.B. Limberger, Mirefleurien, Gamay Fréau, Gamay de Bouze und Gamay-Sorten mit kleinen oder großen Beeren.
Die Weine werden separat vinifiziert, um die Eigenschaften der einzelnen Terroirs widerzuspiegeln.
